Help ? Please
Last night I drove my car a short distance and after going to the shop tried starting the car but had a warning light on the dashboard with a lock showing now the car won't start. Is this easy fix or will it cost more than is worth? The car is punto 57 plate any help would be appreciated... tia

try with spare key

Always try the spare key
Also remove everything off the keys to eliminated false signals (house fobs / work entry keys etc)

Failing that a code read to see if the codes been stored for no key code dwtected or an immboliser fault

Also... 57 meams itll be a grande punto vs a mk2b punto
Mk2 1999-2003
Mk2b 2003-2006
Grande 2006 onwards (aka evo and the new punto etc)

Ive asked a mod to move it - may help with responses
