Hi everybody!

I´m from Slovenia and I would like to share problems with my car in the hope that you can help me.
So, I´m an owner of Punto EVO 1.4 (manufactured in 2010). The car works perfectly despite the problem described below.
If the car is parked outside overnight or is it cold (as it is now - winter time) then, when the engine starts, the control lights on the dashboard turned on:
- steering wheel (red light)
- hand brake (red light)
- ABS (orange light)
- an engine (orange light)
- the inscription appears: Have Power steering/Check engine
- the outdoor temperature indicator does not indicate the actual temperature but only a dotted line appears
- steering Wheel does not work correct (like without servo)
If I stop the car after some driving time, turn off the engine and restart it again, the problems above will disappear.
I also changed the battery with new one. I spent 2 days on authorized workshop. The mechanics didn´t find anything.
Please, help me with tips or share similar experiences.

Hi. It sounds as if the effort of turning a COLD engine into life is still HIGH and the drop in battery voltage makes these sensors low on power..hence the alarm warnings.

Do look in the Grande Section FAQ list at top of GP SECTION..
Probably just a poor connection..or a faulty earth cable.
