I have a new 2015 500c pop and plan to use synthetic but not sure of the best weight to use, i have 4000 miles.also is the standard filter the correct one. Jim k.

Hi, If it is under warranty you need to make sure using a different oil will not affect the cover. Yes Fiat dealers may use one oil on all cars but ttha't their problem.
What engine do you have? What does the manual say to use?
Keep to the standard filter, buy a quality one e.g. Mopar (OEM in US)
