Has anyone got any idea if an AF40 from a 1.9 is the same as an AF40 from a 2.4.Ive had a look at some Alfa Romeo training documents and it would seem the 2.4 version has 1 extra clutch and plate for every gearset.Im unsure whether this is correct.

Thanks David,quite local to.Two things really,started harsh changing again but only now and then but the main concern which i noticed two weeks ago is a real rough feeling at around 2000rpm when pulling hard and i think its the torque convertor.That funny noise that we have all noticed on all of them which i think is the TC in lock up,its that noise multiplied by around ten.
