Had a new cambelt, kit and water pump done at 55,000 miles 6 years ago. The car is now on 75,000.

What's the recommend time/mileage to have it done again on this engine as I've read conflicting info?

Thanks

So in thoery - if it was done 6 years ago the belt is technically due to be changed
The belt has technically now expired

Been a 16v, you run the risk of it snapping, and when it does the unfortold damage it'll do to the engine (pistons and valves will hit - and will it damage the head / block / Camshaft? )

Thank god the 8v is solid lumps :)
