80 fiat spyder fuel injected runs great but not for long when car get hot and fan turns on car shuts down does anyone ever have this problem or know what would cause this after it cools starts right up would appreciate any help thank you

Sounds like the ignition coil or ignition module (if fitted) is overheating. Iirc, the coil is on the left inner wing and gets blasted by hot air when the radiator fan switches on. This doesn't affect the coil normally but might just tip a dodgy coil into failure.

Next time it happens, try cautiously touching the coil and see if it's boiling hot. It shouldn't be too hot to touch. Try cooling the coil with compressed air or a water spray, then dry off and try starting the engine.
