can I separate the blower motor from the fan as its stopped working or is it a sealed unit? Was hoping to check brushes as it seems that might be part of the problem

The motor is under glove box
Take glove box off
Big black plastic cylinder under there
3 Torx screws and out it drops
There is a metal bracket you neeed to loosen off also
If not working at all could be resistor pack..just replaced mine but mine was running full blast constantly...
If you have a multimeter check to see if you have power going to motor

Thanks for you reply;have got the motor out but can't seem to get the unit apart, was wondering if it's a sealed unit? Any help welcome!

Thanks for reply, have looked at the casing, all I can see are letters BEHR PPT 20. Have checked other blower motors online, but nothing seems to match this, and just can't see how to get to the brushes to check them out.

have you connected 12V direct to it..??

I had to do this and work back with a mk2 punto

was a dash wiring issue in the end..

If stripping the sliders on the heat and fan speed down do it carefully as the pins holding the knobs are a bloody cheap cheese material.
