My starter is dead, and before i change it, i want to clean it and see if i can repair it.

Anyone knows?

Behind the engine under the intake - flywheel side. Hard to remove...very limited space.

Under all that. Follow the red cable from the battery.

Impossible to remove without a lift.

i removed starter without lift few times, drove on concrete blocks and crawled under, it takes time

you can remove the starter from under the car (put it on jack stands)
There is only one 13mm screw that needs to be extracted from above, it goes through the bell housing and screws into the starter. You might need to remove the battery.
OH and remove the battery so you don't short out while removing the starter cables ( there are 2: one 10mm and one 13mm)
