I had a problem with the fans sleep switch not working so replaced the resistor as that had burnt out. Which temporarily fixed the problem. Now I am having trouble with the wiring that goes to the motor which is close to the resistor. I have to pull the wires up hard to get the motor to work. When I let the wires go the fan speed seems to slow down until it stops. Not good this time of year when I need to de mist the Windows. Any ideas how to solve this problem with the loose connections

Unplug the connector and with a small screwdriver try to bend the pins a little.

The plug in the picture is from the resistor cable but I think the plug for the motor is almost the same.
