Hi,
I'm the owner of a Knaus camper build on a Fial Ducato (2015).
I have a strange problem:
When I switch on the lights all lights switch on, but the licence plate lights (and also 2 rear lights at the top/back) switch off imediately. So they just glow for a short moment.
Anybody an idea?
Thanks,
Han

My guess is that the high level lights and number plate lamps are connected in a loop into the rear light circuit and there is a high resistance in the joint.
Knaus may have provided a bit of circuitry for the high level lamps, on my Rapido there was a relay which switched the high level and side amber markers on when the lights were switched on. This prevented bulb failure indications on the base vehicle system.

Hi,
Found the problem.
Short circuit in the wiring to one of the top lights.
The short circuit is probably detected by the Fiat circuitry and this switches of the 12v to the 4 lights.
