Hello there, I have just bought a 2015 500 pop S/S, it has no added options.

The radio is an SB12 which doesn't have an active AUX input.

From checking out the forum there are SB05's that sometimes work these seem to be named AUX2+ or AUX.

My request is for anyone who knows their radio type that has pressed the CD button enough times to see AUX on the panel and can post here so that I can then buy the right type.

OK, after another day searching the forum, it looks like a pre 2010 AUX2 has the AUX input active.

BUT.... Now I read that the radio can have a CAN CHECK error from another car..
Is this something anyone has seen? Has anyone fitted a replacement stereo?

I had a 2010 radio in mine, and it didn't take aux, so it must have been real early 2010 that had it. If I'm not mistaken it's only the Blaupunkt radios that have the aux capability. You obviously need the adapter thing for the back of the radio though.


I just cut my losses and bought a Pioneer. Has USB, bluetooth, phone, etc, doesn't stand out too much from the car either. Good choice.
