There's an adjuster on the end of the clutch cable down at the gearbox,
so you'll need to get underneath.
Try lifting the clutch pedal, normally it sits level with the brake pedal.
Adjust the adjuster until you have approx 3/4 to 1 inch of free play at the pedal, i.e. before the clutch starts to be disengaged.
This free play is measured from the clutch pedal being level with the brake pedal to where you feel it encountering pressure, i.e. starting to disengage the clutch.
Alternatively, at the adjuster end you need about 1/8 - 3/16 inch free play on the cable before the clutch starts to be disengaged.
Don't go too tight on the adjustment or the clutch will slip (revs increasing without an equivalent increase in speed, when you accelerate in a gear, especially 4th or 5th). Alternatively, too loose on the adjuster will typically cause crunching when engaging reverse gear.
