Hello all,

My clutch makes a squealing noise when depressed. This happens when the car is both in gear and not but only when the clutch is pressed down, the squealing seems to be coming from the front left of the car.

I am not sure what it is all I know is its very annoying, any ideas anyone?

Hi,
your cars Clutch IS located at the front left, ;)

TBH - I would go to ANY garage at get them to look at it..,
even just 2 mins with the bonnet -up could save you damaging something expensive,

This sounds like the clutch release bearing. It has a graphite ring which when severely worn gets highly polished and sqeals. It's rare to hear it on a Fiat. It's much more common on Fords. Do you ride your clutch? That could be the cause.
