When I first bought my car I didn't have this issue, but the blades were on their last legs so I replaced them with some Halfords ones (was a bit skint after buying the car) which were alright for a bit. Then the judder began at the bottom of the wiper on the drivers side, so I've replaced them with Bosch aeros and the problem is still occurring. The window is waxed as well, any ideas?

Had the same problem with the Halfords ones on my old Grande Punto. Strange that the Bosch are still doing it, they are the OEM ones right?

I bet you hate it even more when it rains?

Same problem on evo but no proper solution :s

Apprantly this worked on a grande punto

SOLUTION!
"get some clear spirit vinegar and some kitchen roll and clean the glass and the wiper blades themselves
also a decent quality screen wash helps too

if the glass really is dirty you want some glass polish

rub it in really well then buff off once dry"

giving everything a good clean certainly helps, (y)

from there - slight bending of the steel arms will change the
tension / pressure of blade to screen contact,

maybe get a used set to practice on..,
