Hi all,

Need help ASAP!

I've got an SX85 Mk1 Punto, but I'm turning it into a GT replica. I've done the whole interior, but the only thing i needed was the steering wheel...

So I got my GT wheel through the post today and decided to put it on..

So i took the old wheel off, and tried the GT one on... And it wouldn't go on..

Goes on a tiny bit and won't go any further... It's almost as if the spigot on the wheel doesn't fit the ones on the column.

Any ideas?

Rhys

well the long and overly complicated solution would be to fit GT column... I don't know if the rack itself is different or if its a quicker rack or not, worth looking into..

And as i write that i wonder to myself, does your car have PAS, as the GT defo has - hydraulic PAS. Just thinking maybe the PAS column is different to non-PAS.
