cheapest way to a 2nd working key..,

go on ebay, buy a key of the same style to yours -(£15)

shop around FIAT dealers for the CODE necessary to add a key into cars ECU
( £15 to £35)
it'll be a sheet of A4 paper..so whoever is cheapest in the UK..!!;)

take it along with the car to a decent autolocksmith,

they'll take the key apart, change the chip, and remove the blade

use a CNC machine to SCAN the working key, then cut a copy which then gets fitted to the "ebay KEY",

then they'll plug a box into the cars OBD port, and code in BOTH of the keys,

this could take around an hour , and cost @£100(y)

hope that helps,:)

look in the forums, Clubs and Events listings,
Cymru Italia are a friendly bunch, and somebody fairly local may be able to recommend a place for the key coding,

Just a quick update
I had crazy prices from main dealers and some auto locksmiths for a spaire key but I ended up getting a plain one with chip that opens the car,
starts the car and opens the fuel lock for the MASSIVE price of wait for it ----------£35.00 don't think many will beat that,
