Has anyone fitted Spax springs to their Marea Weekend? I have fitted a set direct from Spax, but they are much softer than the factory fitted lowering springs. I have told them my findings but they aren't interested! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Id only use lowering from the reputable manufacturers like Eibach, Kw , Bilstein etc. They may be more expensive but its the only way im afraid.
Fitting cheapo, untested springs may improve looks but may actualy cause poorer handling than standard setup.
The cheaper ones are the bottom end of the market aimed at boy racer types.

I totally agree! Price was never part of the equation. Unfortunately Spax are the only people, that I had heard of, that manufacture springs for a 2.4 JTD! I have now found a specialist company that can make them to my spec, so gonna give them a go!!

Hmmm, I wonder does the Marea 2.4jtd have the same front suspension as Bravo Hgt and Jtd? Cant Imagine it would be different.

If it does them KW do a good spring kit for Bravo Jtd, I have them on mine -30 mm and there very good.

The 2.4 is slightly heavier on the front end and KW don't list the weekend, so I can't get the rears! I've put the factory option Sparco's back on the rear for now and sending the Spax ones back. I'll keep looking, cheers for the help.
