gutted.

since getting head work done earlier this year, my airbag light has been on. Just went to Arnold Clark who tell me the airbag control unit is faulty, and as you could guess, the price of a new unit is off the chart.

is this the sort of thing that I could get from a wrecker and just swap out? or is it more complicated than that?

any advice appreciated. apparently it won't pass MOT with the airbag light on.

Hope this is'nt what's happened to me.

My warning (Air Bag) light has been on since getting new dials fitted.

I think you can get one from a scrappy, but you also can turn the air bag off. If MOT allows that.

@BravoBear - you turned the ignition ON when there was no dash in, or it was disconnected ? If Yes - then go to fiat and do a air bag diagnostic chec and tell them to reset it - it picked up a disconnection from the dash and registered it as a fault.
