i cant pull away in my car as i usually would. once the revs pick up there is no transfere of power to the wheels my automatic concern was that the clutch is slipping. i had a new clutch fitted about 1000 miles ago tho.

im guessing other possible causes are the diff or possibly a cv joint? cars done 75k!

thoughts anyone?

cheers

just had my clutch done as it was slipping too, in my case i just had the gearbox done before that, turns out the new gearbox leaked from its oil seal into the clutch killing it early. get it checked at another garage in case something similars possibly happened. could just be a bad clutch they fitted, take it back to them as you'll have a gaurantee of some sort.

if it was sudden and no drive at all then check your driveshafts first, may have popped out, if you have some drive but have to rev then clutch fault, noisy with it is bearing.
