My 1998 Fiat Brava 1.4s makes a Loud clicking as the engine warms, also as it cools down,Ive had other cars that click but this is usually down to the radiator cooling down, however the Clicking seems to be comming from the engine block, any suggestions?.

have same thing going on in 1.4 12v, everone tells me its no probb... bravo-thing. I've got problem with gearbox (see message 16dec.) can U help plz?

Its probably the Cat cooling down. It makes a click click clack ping crackle zip phwam noise - well sort off! The cat runs very hot (which is why you shouldn't park on dry grass after a long run) and there is quite a large engine bay on the 1.4 for the sound to echo around. Dont worry about it.
