The passenger side door lock on my 54 plate Fiat Doblo Cargo has always caused me a few problems in that it sticks but recently it had totally seized up and I can no longer turn the key.

Now my driver side door lock won't allow me to insert the key in fully meaning I can no longer lock the door.

As I'm not mechanically minded in anyway, could some please advise what the best (and ideally cheapest) way of sorting this problem is.

That is the stuff of the devil!

In a lock, if a dose of graphite won't do the job, rather spray in a bit of 3 in 1 oil to lubricate the working parts.

The problem is, both the key and the lock components wear down over the years and eventually will fail.

I guess the cheapest way round it is another lock from a breaker, which would mean two keys. One for the door & one for the ignition.....
