Hi, recently brought a Y reg Doblo. The ignition barrel wont turn at all. Had the RAC out to have a look and the bloke mentioned that I would need to get the new one programmed and id need a master key? Just wanted to know if I can just buy a new barrel and key and swap it straight over?

yes you can just change the ignition switch,but you'll will have to retain the orginal key on the fob or tape inside the housing as there is a antenna around the cowling ,which picks up the transponder in your orginal key & turns off the immobilser
otherwise it wont start
