Hi, I have the Punto Activ Sport and very recently noticed that the speedometer is not functioning correctly. Sometimes the needle fails to work at all and other times it is fine. Occasionally it just shoots around the clock randomly not in sync with my speed. Can anyone advise what this is and if there is a quick fix? Thanks.

these work by an electric motor so motor might be
worn out
try giving dash a good hard bang in case its fluff causing problema new/second hand speedo head would normally be the answer but you might up havong a lower or higher mileage than now so it would need proxy aligning
