Punto 1.2 2003 power steering problem
New in here, having a problem with the power steering, it stopped working so I checked the fuses they were both OK I also tapped the relays and it worked for a short while.
It would seem that I have a faulty relay (please god) problem is I gave all the relays a knock and I do not know which is the one(s) control the steering.
Can somebody point out which one(s) I need to look at?

It's more likely to be a dying battery -- especially at this time of year -- that causes the PAS to go on a Mk2 Punto; and it's a fairly common problem.

Have you got the red PAS light staying on, on the dashboard; and have you tested the battery output (i.e. voltage across the battery terminals: when stopped; then engine running; then lights and heater fan on...); or had it properly drop tested at your nearest motor factors...?

Sometimes it is the PAS motor that needs replacing; but report back, and someone who's had some sleep will be able to help. Good luck!
