I recently got my gp serviced but they forgot to reset the Service token...
They said I could bring it back to get it done but can't really be bothered going all the way there just for this

Can I reset it myself? I have the obd2 bt adaptor conneçted and the Torque pro app!

Not without MultiECUscan software.

The actual message and spanner icon disappear by themselves after a short while

Oil degradation index doesn't though, although not sure it that'll be applicable in OP's case.

Just checked this software! The free version doesn't allow reset functions
Or I'm I reading it wrong?
