hi i have a ducato 11 jtd 2.0 it will start fine but wont rev above 2500 rpm if you try to rev above this it just cuts out can any body help thanks phil

any warning lights..??,
check + clear fault codes 1st,
probably a poor sensor. or MAF / EGR problem,

hi yes engine symbol light on had recovery out they reset all codes and then retested and it was showing fuel fault , but i was rather hoping some one might of had same problem and could point me in the right direction thanks phil

he just said a fuel problem i didnt see the actual code all i know was he was using a mac code reader sorry thats all i know

I have exactly the same issue in a '06 2.8 JTD, just waiting for the cable to arrive to try and find out what the issue is. I've tried some of the solutions that have been offered that were similar, like the waste gate sticking on turbo, but that was moving fine, checked all the wiring to injectors, all ok.
I was thinking it was fuel related when it happened, probably a bit of the cartridge filter stuck somewhere between filter and pump, and not too expensive to fix
