Hi Guys/Girls,

My heater has stopped working. The fan seems to work just no heat. This happened last week for one journey, and the next drive all was fine again :)

Today I had a cold one hour journey to work :( so not sure if the return trip will be warmer ;)

All the fluid levels seem normal - coolant, oil but last week the engine overheated in heavy traffic. I had a red temperature light indicating for a few mins until I resumed traveling and then it went off again.

Do you think this will be expensive to fix?

you've almost certainly got an air lock problem,

any idea when the coolant was last changed / disturbed ?,
if not ,
probably a good idea to dump it for fresh and bleed again,

EDIT = are you SURE the coolant is near the MAX mark??,
easiest to check with a torch illuminating the wall of the rad's filler tube,

plenty of GUIDE pictures on bleeding the panda and similar punto, where are you based..??

Hi

Same thing has just happened to my Panda, 3 years old! Not a good time to be driving 15 miles to work with no heater! Just wondered if you got yours fixed, what the problem was...and how much was it??

Thanks!
