hy guys, i'm new to this forum...i have a problem and i hope there is someone outhere who might help me. i have a 2001 stilo 3 doors 1.6 engine and recently i've been having a problem. i left the hazard lights on for about 5 minutes and after that the front left signal and right rear signal remained on even if i switch off the engine or remove the key.

i checked the hazard lights switch and even removed it, checked almost all the relays and nothing. at the moment i am removing the battery contact everytime i stop the car for more than half an hour.

any ideas anyone ??? thanks in advance....

Before everything was computerised, that would definitely have been the hazard switch. All indicator feeds used to go through this switch.

If hazard switch is just two wires, therefore just sending a signal to the computer to turn on all the lights, then body computer is a likely culprit. If switch has lots of wires, I'd be inclined to replace that first.

Do the lights stay on when you take the hazard switch out?

yes, i took the hazard switch out and it's the same...
and if it's the body computer....do i have to change it or it can be fixed ?
