Hi guys. Just thought I'd say hello. I'm Kevin, work for Plymouth Citybus as a driver. Had a few fiat's in the past including Grande Punto Sporting, just sold my 2002 Punto 1.2 Active, picking up my 63 plate Panda 1.2 Pop in white tomorrow @ 0930. Got a great price £6995 from Vospers Plymouth! ;)

Congratulations! Even though I'm the very proud owner of a mid-spec 1.2 Easy, I think the bargains are to be had at the bottom (Pop) and top (Lounge) of the range.

If I've been driving a bigger car, I'm obviously reminded of how compact my Panda is when I get back into it. If you're a bus driver 9-5, you might experience that a bit more often :)

Unfortunately bus drivers don't work 9 to 5 :D After driving a vehicle 40ft long 8 ft wide 11.5 tons plus passengers everyday, anything else seems tiny. The best cars Fiat have built have always been small cars.

We have had 2 pandas before too:

Yellow 54 plate dynamic and silver 56 eleganza.

Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the forum!

Sounds like a great deal, I'd spotted that one advertised a while back. Great news that it's a 63 plate; I'd thought they were going cheap as the last of the 13 plate ones, but obviously not.

Anyway, you can't go wrong with a Panda for that price. Also the Vospers team in Plymouth seem to be pretty good actually; my sister-in-law got her 500 Colour Therapy from there and they really did give her a good deal.

She had an old R reg Punto which she owned for about 4 months. Can't remember what the figures were but think she paid around £700 for it and traded it in for a grand (plus the other deposit contributions at the time). Not bad!:D

Meet Chi Chi. Collected today with 3 miles on the clock. Now has 99  Quiet impressed. Went to Exeter for lunch, steady 70 and the trip computer was saying tank average 48.4mpg.
