Hi,
My neices trusty 16v ELX has dumped it's PAS,

we did the battery last winter so assume it's a more involved problem than just lack of electrical power,

my code reader box only does engine ECU + I don't have a laptop = so Multi ECU Scan is a mystery to me..,

however she DOES have a laptop (y) - so I'll have quick look at it for obvious mechanical / loose wire faults :bang:, then attempt the MES / laptop ,

BUT can somebody give me a LINK / guide on the hows and wherefores of MES,

Thanks ,:worship:

Hi Charlie,

To download MES visit:

http://www.multiecuscan.net

You will need the ELM 327 interface cable, along with the correct adapters.
Bare in mind to in order to access the Delphi Power Steering, you will need the full version of MES! As the free version highlights these areas in red which means full version required.

I think I paid around £44 for my full licence on MES.

Hope this helps.

Ben
