Hi All

I stay in Pune and own a fiat palio car which petrol version and 2002 model (purchased second hand in 2010) . It was working fine till now but suddenly started posing some problem - while running engine stops and will not start till 20-30 mins then slowly picks up ... my mechanic says it is having fuel pressure problem hence need to replace the fuel pump with motor . however to my knowledge getting spares of fiat old models is not possible and the part will have to be local one which obviously will have no gaurantee . So I would like to seek guidance from all members in the forum , how to get this problem rectified ? can anyone suggest what is the best solution . The car is right now with Mechanic

How about the fuel filter,under the car, next to the fueltank, when was it last changed?

And parts shouldn't be a problem at all, as the Palio is still in production, all parts are available at any dealer.
And don't forget Ebay for inexpensive parts...!!
