Hi all,
The rear passagenger door on my stilo estate has broken this afternoon (ithink it was the neigbour cutting grass but he denies). I have found a new glass at a breakers which is good, but when I have started clearing out the old glass the door will not unlock. I guess there is glass stopping it somewhere.

So I am after 2 bits of advice. How to get the door open, what about undoing the hinge bolts which I can get to witht he front door open?

does any one have any tips for replacing the glass.

not to bad a job in the end. Got a glass from DA Motors wickford.

to get the door unlock, I went on a bumby road and then a few hits with the bottom of my fist must have been enough to remove the glass which was stopping it from opening.

Then simple job of disasmbling and back together 1 1/2 hours in the end in 30c heat, so quite pleased really.
