The Ritmo has now a new gearbox problem. It became harder and harder to get it into gears without grinding, and now it is impossible to gear...

Is it a gearbox problem, or a clutch failure? Clutch is cable operated.

either clutch is worn[lightly],needs adjustment,or cable stretched.might also be selectors.with engine off,try changing gear.if you can,its the clutch.
