I got a quote for spraying both wings on a Stilo 5 door. I was told that the front doors need doing too to blend it in. Is this the right way to do it? I have used this bodyshop before to repair a dent and they did a good job.

Yes It is the right way to paint the car blending it into the doors ensures there is not a block mismatch of colours, if they were blended into the doors it could cause an affect of two different colours

i thought colour matching was so good these days including being able to "age" the paint to match the cars paint, that there is no need to blend into the next panel. would this then not extend to blending in on the edge of the bonnet?
