Hey there i'm new to this forum I don't no if this has already been posted but i've stuck a set of 15inch alloys on my 1.4 the first time I put them on I had no issues no rubs scrapes anything put them back on today and it sounds like the passenger side is rubbing at low speeds :s can anyone shed some light on the situation? Once again sorry if this has already been asked before.

Ive checked all the about just shoved a steelie on for time being till I get time to check it out

If you have a steelie on 1 side - you should on the other too!

Saves stressing the differential out due to 2 different tyre sizes

With the car on the ground - put full lock on - and run your hand around the tyre on the inside to feel if anything is remotly close to it
Then again with lock the other side and again, something will be rubbing

My bet too is the flexi hose, as its knocked by accident and swings from its mounting

Ziggy

Ziggy cheers for the advice cars not being run till tomorrow so alloy will go on then for reasons unknown if I have to steels on the front with alloys on the back it knocks a sensor out which in turn makes the car rev its tits of when changing gear/ standstill traffic
