hi all
had a binding rear caliper now for ages, it's pretty much wiped out the disc and worn much of the pad down to the limit.
i've had the caliper off, to me it seemed to be the handbrake mechanism causing the problem, i bent the arms of the clip for the mechanism in such a way to make it stronger and even slackened the handbrake off a bit, but it's still binding!
anyone had similar? done a search but couldn't find anything similar with a fix.
i've looked for a new handbrake mech clip but can't find one, is it just a case of getting a new/reman caliper?
low profile sports tyres and a binding rear caliper don't make for good snow grip
