Hi guys im wondering if you can help me out. Im currently running two vibe 12" SLICK sub woofers in my car. With 2 Vibe slick amps. These amps came with the sub woofers. I have wired each sub to its own amplifier in bridge. With both amp settings the same. Single power wire to connection block with in-line fuses which separate to each amp.

Problem
The audio works fine. Can crank it up works fine. After about 30mins or so the subwoofers cut out. Even on low level. Both amps lights go off and the amps are cold to the touch. If i switch the car off and on makes no difference. But if i leave the car for say hour or two and switch the car back on again. Everything works fine without touching anything?

Would a capacitor help this?

Any ideas?

here is a link to the subwoofer/amp

possibly the way you have wired the subs, check the manufactures instructions for both.
Also I have seen posts similar where people ran the remote wire from the factory head unit. They switched the remote from the HU and fixed it to the fuse for the lighter and problem fixed.

There is an easy way to test if it is the remote turn on wire. When the problem occurs use a short piece of wire to bridge the 12 volt + terminal on the amp to the remote turn on terminal on the amp. If the amp fires up again it's to do with the remote turn on wire, if not it's something else.
