does the A500 have the under seat storage or not since they appear to have the same base trim?

It would appear that it does not have one but Tony (Grimwau) or RUI would know for sure. Kinda surprised since I thought it would only lose it if you speced interscope (because of the history with LHD) or Leather.

The joke about the US model needing the glovebox was to carry a gun.

Hi Michael, AFAIK all the A500 hatches had interscope as standard so that would be a NO! Not sure about the soft top, interscope may have been an option on them but if I had to guess after looking at the seat layout I would say that the Abarth seats would not accommodate the storage cubby.
