this only my second post so bare with me.
im trying to fit a reversing camera that fits in the registration plate slot i can do this part however when it comes to connect the reversing camera power to the reversing light cable im not sure how to do this i would rather do a temporay method one that can easily be removed and thats connected inside the car. so any suggestions or places where the reversing light cable connects up so i could use a spade fittings or loop to connect to it or worse comes to worse if i use a scotch lock do these break the wire completely when removed.

simple to find in reality

remove boot trim along the back of the boot (2 pozi screws and the big torx one the boot popper sits against) and the rubber boot seal......


and pull it upwards (its on clips)

then locate the rubber grommet behind it


go down under the bumper and feel for the reverse light cables from the reverse light there are 2 + and - obviously

give them a wiggle and feel the cables in the boot as to which 2 they are....

then use a multimeter or test lamp with a spear tip to find live


i'd just scotch lock it to the correct wire when removed just wrap the cable in tape if fitted correctly it wont cut into the wire
