my battery went flat the other day and my dad tried to jump start it yesterday while i was at work.

apparently it turned over then nothing. i've just been to try and jump it, but there is no electricity getting to the cinq. even with jump cables connected, the dash lights wont even come on.

i beleive he blew a fuse whilst trying to jump it and assume its probably the large one that sits on top of the battery?

does that sound the problem? if so what size fuse do i need to replace it with?

cheers
adam

its probably safe to say they jumped it wrong.

took the large 100amp fuse out of the housing on the positive battery cable and found it had blown.

been to a few motor factors today and none have ever seen a fuse like it, so will have to order one from the internet and wait for it to arrive.

once thats done, battery test needs to be done.

also change expansion tank, wheel bearings, brake discs, pads, shoes

yeah, i got a tankf rom an online breakes, as my current one, i knocked the hose going to the throttle body and broke the conector off the tank :(

just need to find time to do it :( seem to be working all the bloomin time :(
