hello first time poster here, youre site looks very good with loads of info.

a mate has a W reg 1.6L Marea and has asked me to give it a service we have no idea what its had done to it befor so i was wondering if u could help advice me on what should be changed as i havent seen the car yet.

are they 8v or 16v or can it be eather?
are the coil and distributor or is it a dis pack system?
any thing to look out for?

im thinking it needs the folowing changing:
oil filter
sump plug washer
oil (how much do they hold and what gread are they)
air filter
plugs
polon filter (do these have these, if so were are they)
what are the tyer preshers on these?

sorry for asking just loads of question on this but ive never experianced fiats yet, my mates loveing it so i may be about for a while to find out more bout them.

just thought of something else were is the fule filter? how is it secured (canister, bolted funny clip)

1.6 is 16v
Fully electronic ignition
3.8l of selenia 20k or any good semi or fully synthetic oil.
NGK BKR5EZ, Champion RC10YCC 0.8mm gap
pollen filter on ac models only
fuel filter is behind a panel in the wheel arch near the fuel filler.
Tyres, 2.1f/2.3r normal, 2.2f/2.5r fully laden cold add 0.3 for hot.

What service is it?

not sure m8 as i havent seen the service book yet so was planing on everything but the belt.

is it standered 10w40 oil?

Yes but put a good quality oil in if you can't get the Selenia. I use Magnatec.
If you can get the service I'll tell you the specials.

my m8 has also asked if there are any lexus type light for the rear of the solon as he reckons he has seen some i cant see any on the net sofar, are there any?

I'm not aware of any California lights for the saloon.
