We have a 2005 Fiat Ulysse MPV that recently goes intermittently into limp mode and the yellow warning light comes on. Been into the garage twice and they have replaced two solenoids which were showing as a fault, problem not solved. We contacted a tuning specialist as we thought it may be the DPF and we would have it removed but he put it on the computer and it showed DPF was fine but solenoids needed replacing, we said they already had been, so he reset engine management to show they had been redone. Garage now wants to send off the turbo to be serviced with no guarantees this will solve the problem and we do not know how much it will cost. Can anyone recommend a garage in Nottingham area who might actually be competent enough to solve it ? We have been down this route before with the Fiat dealer in Lincoln who charged us £1000 to replace parts in an old Fiat, the fault eventually was in the wiring loom.
