Hi, when driving with the lights on the dash lights up - fine.

However when the lights are off and I am driving ion the day with the day lights on, the dash is not illuminated.

Now I'm not that keen on the dash in the evo, I struggle to see the 30mph mark as it is, especially when the colours do not stand out too well.

So I think I'd like to illuminate the dash permanently.

Perhaps make the lamps come on with the ignition, or even add my own leds.
Does anyone know of something like this being done and can point me to it or let me know how to get to/remove the dash?

You'd somehow have to wire an ignition live to the clocks LED feed, but then you would need to find out if it runs 12v, 5v or maybe even less.

What I would do is just put the sidelights on at all times.

I have the driving lights on but they do not illuminate the dash..I used to always drive with lights on as insurance claim forms ask if you had your lights on so I recon you +1 if they are, however now I am thinking of fuel saving instead.
