The fuel gauge is not workig on my 1990 Uylesse. Switch the ignition on, the low level fuel light comes on and then goes off, but the needle does not move.
A bit disconcerting because I am now having to use the odometer to work out when I might be getting low on diesel, but as I have only had it a week its a bit of a guesstimate.
Anybody help with the location of the sender unit please ? Am I correct in thinking once I have found it I can test it by removing the live wire and grounding it and the needle should then move to full ? - and it might just then be a question of an electrical cleanup.
