I've been experiencing a squeaky noise coming from the rear off my MKII Punto. Has anyone experienced this and knows of a cure for it?

Give us a clue.

The noise is coming from the rear of the car but I haven't a clue where it is coming from. This noise is only heard when I'm driving the car. Hence, when stationary and I bounce the rear of the car (suspensions) and noise is not heard. I've also checked the back seats of the car and shelves. The noise is heard from the inside of the car but do not know if it is also heard from the outside.

Sorry I do not mean to be vague about the question but that is all that I can really say.

Do what I do, get your bird to sit in the back and look for it.

try to lay down the back of your rear seats and then drive around a block to check if the noise is still there.when you try that tell me the results!

i thought i had a queeky noise from the rear of the car (mk2 mia) just after i lowered it but it turns out to be my cabin fan on setting no1 so try turning the fan up to setting no2 cos the queekin disappeared after i done this.
Il get it fixed at the next service.
