this whole Fiat thing has got to me...
I have an opportunity to aquire an early 500 from Milan... which is a long way from the uk...
I did look at driving with a trailer but that's a very long way.... about 800miles from Calais... sooo about 2000 miles in total...

So looking at shipping companies.. i could send a car 1/2 way round the world for what they ask....

So any suggestions?
If I could get it to Calais I could easily get a day ticket over and trailer it back from there....

I know people will say buy one in the UK etc etc.. but it would come as part of a deal which suits me ....

I am sure you would not be the first to do this!

If the car isn't driveable, then why not trailer it?

You could even make a short holiday of it!

Only thing I have heard you need to watch is that the system for transfer of cars is slightly different in Italy, but if you have good contacts there I am sure they will help you with that.
