Loosen wheel nuts.
Jack up rear of the car and support on axle stands.
open bonnet and remove filler cap for fluid.
keep an eye on this when pushing back pistons, if it gets to the top remove some with a syringe or turkey baster.
Remove wheels. spray brake cleaner on calliper to keep dust from getting in lungs.
use hand brake or get some one to put foot on brake pedal and loosen disc securing screw,
If no one is about or if you have forgotten to loosen screw before taking pads out you can put a bar through a wheel bolt hole to stop hub spinning, be careful though if screw is too tight you may end up damaging threads with the bar.
Now make sure hand brake is off.
remove calliper, 13mm socket and 15mm spanner
Sit the calliper out of the way, it should just sit there with out moving, but you can tie it up if you like. clean it more now if you like.
remove old pads.
remove the metal bits pads sit in and clean them well with brake cleaner
Remove calliper carrier, you need a breaker bar and a T18 torx socket
Then give it a good clean.
remove the 2 slider pins clean re-grease and refit.
Remove the disc screw and disc, you can bash disc off with any hammer if not reusing it.
clean up the hub, so it looks like this
Then fit new disc and screw.
Refit the carrier and them metal bits you cleaned earlier. you MUST clean thread of bolts or use new bolts and use a thread lock.
Fit piston rewind tool, on this car both pistons are clockwise to push back.
Turn tool until they are pushed back, note the tool wont move if its too tight in calliper, you may need to loosen it a bit after a few turns.
piston should now look like 2nd pic.
If you haven't already clean up the calliper.
put copper grease on the bits of pads that sit metal to metal in the carrier.
then refit pads.
Put copper grease on the bits of calliper that are in contact with the pads.
Refit the calliper to carrier, again you MUST clean thread of bolts or use new bolts and use a thread lock.
press pedal till its firm, apply hand brake and then tighten up that disc holding screw.
refit road wheels, remove axle stands lower car back to the ground, torque up wheel bolts.
Make sure brake pedal feels firm by pressing it a few times, now check and correct fluid level, replace cap, shut bonnet. go buy chips to test brakes out.
