Hi, i have a knocking noise coming from my 1.6sx weekend it is worse over speed bumps.I thought i seen a post somewhere saying the anti roll bar drop links can cause problems anybody had the same problem.The noise is on both sides at the front thanks

It is a known fault. Probably needs new bushes. Jack the car up and see how much movement you get.

Had this on a Mondeo, the links really need to be disconnected at one end to check them. The anti-roll bar pulls on them when you jack them up, so can make it difficult to check.

If I never fit a Mondeo set again it'll be too soon, full replacement arms needed as it's easier and cheaper.

Thanks for the replies, sounds like i need to change drop links and bottom arms to be sure on a cure.I have found the drop links for £15 each and bottom arms for about £35 each, is that about the right price i should be paying? thanks again
