I have Fiat Palio El 1.2 (2002 model).

Few days ago I recharged the battery and used the vehicle for more than 2 months.

One day my sister learning car and

the car shuts down with jerk due to break applied on low speed....

after that car doesn't able to star up. as I insert key and take to switch off position fan lights able to start , red battery light glows up.

As soon as i tried to start the car nothing happens , not even whoosh whoosh sound like battery low just tick sound from bonute ,but lights fans doesn't work in this situation.

I checked battery showing 12.46V.

Please hep me to troubleshoot the problem......

Get the starter motor & Alternator checked.

The battery charge is usually checked with the engine running & is checked with Load (AC & Headlights) & without Load. The battery charge is too low may be because the engine was not running at that point.

Check the spark plugs & plug wires / coil.
