Hi All, I got a 54 plate doblo 1.3 m-jet and it's been a nippie little van, used to pull off really quick. But the other day my throttle jamed under the carpet mat, luckly i was quick enough to pull the carpet mat out of the way.
(they wont be going in there again,i poo'd my pants)

Any ideas if this would have caused a problem?

Is there any warning lights on ?

Sometimes if the throttle has been pressed down and bounced the rev limiter they store a code that says maximum engine revs reached warranty void, this just means its gone to maximum parameters. i would get it code read and the memory cleared and see how it runs.

you should`nt have done any damage there pretty safe.

I have noticed the spring light stays on for a few seconds when i start the van, the light for glow plugs, it seems theres no response in the throttle, hard to explain, takes ages for it to kick in.

Thats just telling you there is a ecu malfunction i would plug it in and check codes - its possibly in limp mode (cuts power by a third if it has a panic)

could also whip positive lead of battery for ten mins to try a quick re-set if no joy it needs a code scanner plugging into it.
